Do you charge for delivery?

Essential Rentals offers free delivery and pick up of rental items to all Cape Cod locations. All orders have a one time $15.00 processing fee.

Orders placed within 7 days of arrival are assessed an additional $15 late order fee (i.e. an order for Saturday delivery must be placed by midnight on the previous FRIDAY). Orders placed for same-day or next day delivery have a total of a $30 RUSH FEE in addition to the $15 processing.

For example, an order placed on July 1st for delivery on July 4th would be charged the flat $15.00 processing fee AND a $15.00 late fee.

What does the processing fee cover? This fee helps us provide for insurance, which is difficult to attain in this industry, maintain memberships in industry trade groups, and advocate in support of local tourism ventures.

Can I rent items for less than a week, and do you have daily rates?
You can rent items for any number of days that you want, however we do not have "daily" or pro-rated weekly rates. If you wish to reserve an item for three days, you will be charged the full weekly rate. If you wish to rent an item for 8 days, you will be responsible for the additional weekly charge. Similarly, if an item is only available for 5 days, the weekly rate still applies. Please call the office if you have a unique situation and we will do our best to work with you.

Is your crib really full size?

ABSOLUTELY! Our solid wood crib is a full size sleeping crib (not a pack 'n play, though we rent those too) with an industry standard 28" x 52" sleep surface. **In accordance with Federal Guidelines, our entire fleet of cribs was completely updated in 2012, with new additions being added each season. It is illegal to sell, rent or purchase a crib manufactured prior to 2012. More Info

What if I have to cancel my order?
Orders cancelled more than one week prior to delivery will receive a full refund, less the $15.00 processing fee. Any cancellation within 7 days prior to delivery will be issued a store credit, less the $15.00 processing fee. As of delivery day, no refunds are issued.

Can I order items last minute?

Due to our volume of deliveries, any last minute orders placed for delivery within 7 days of arrival are subject to a $15.00 late order fee. For orders placed for same-day or next-day delivery, this increases to a $30.00 RUSH FEE.

Can we pick up our rental items?

At this time, our warehouse is not equipped to accomodate pickups by customers. Essential Rentals delivers and picks up all rental items on the days of your arrival and departure.

When will my items be delivered?
We deliver every day, except Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Year's Day.

You do not have to be present for us to deliver your rental equipment.  Your items will be left in a protected area whenever possible, except hotel orders which will be left inside. 

We make every effort deliver your rental items by 7:00 pm on the day of your arrival, although we cannot guarantee a particular delivery time (unless Express Delivery is requested, see below). Even in peak season, 99.9% of our deliveries are complete by 7:00 pm.

Most of our deliveries are on Saturdays, so if your items have not arrived by 6:00, please call our office at 508.398.3685 for a status update.

Please leave your rental items outside of your rental when you depart.

To guarantee delivery before 3:00 pm on your arrival date, select the
"Express Delivery" option ($30.00 additional fee).

Based on availability, you may upgrade your order to Express Delivery for $30.00. This will guarantee your items will be delivered by 3:00 pm.

PLEASE NOTE: Bikes, Kayaks and SUPs are not eligible for Express Delivery at this time.

What happens if I lose a rental item?

For all rentals, you will be charged for any missing or damaged items. We often offer used equipment for sale at greatly reduced prices – simply give us a call at 508.398.3685.

I was hoping to rent an item but I don’t see it in your catalog.

If you have a special request for a rental item, please contact us at 1-877-377-3685. If we cannot get what you are looking for, we will refer you to someone who can.

What is the best way to place an order?

We have made it very easy for you to make a rental reservation. You may order

1) ONLINE at www.essentialrentals.com (using our secure online server)
2) by PHONE at 1-877-377-3685;
3) by FAX 508-398-6669; or
4) by MAIL at P.O. Box 368 Dennis Port, MA 02639.

To order by phone, fax or mail, simply place your order online and select "Phone/Fax" as your payment method at checkout. Your order will be displayed for you to print and mail or fax to us!

For best availability, please place your order at 2 weeks prior to your check-in day. Availability cannot be guaranteed without payment.

Is it safe to provide my credit card information online?
